Luna's Random Thoughts – Chapter 14 The Many Colours of Black

preserved black rose in glass dome

Recently, our black roses have been selling surprisingly well.

And what I find most interesting is that every order seems to carry a completely different emotion.

Some are about saying goodbye to someone you loved.

Some are about loving someone until the grave.

Some are for getting through a difficult time in life.

And some are simply for birthdays.

Black is no longer just black.

Somehow, it has become a colour full of different emotions.

I have always loved dark colours.

Maybe it's because soft, gentle colours just don't seem to work very well on me.

A few days ago, I did my nails in a soft dusty pink.

Ray looked at them and said,

"That doesn't look good."

Thank you very much.

😂

At that moment, I accepted my fate.

Maybe the soft and sweet look and I are simply not meant to be together.

I'll stick with black, deep wine red and dark berry colours for the rest of my life.

😂

Sometimes I wonder if customers who love soft and pretty things open my very black website...

take one look...

and immediately leave.

Maybe the people who stay are just like me.

The ones who prefer dark chocolate and red wine.

But I promise!

We actually have plenty of soft and pretty colours too.

Pink.

Dusty pink.

Champagne.

Beautiful gentle bouquets like this one:

Unfortunately...

Our Black Rose Dome is sold out.

Again.

😂

For anyone who loves the many colours of black—or needs a gift for an emotion that's a little harder to explain—there is always Cobalt Blue.

Because Cobalt Blue can love deeply too.
